What's This Flametag? A Quick Run-Down
Attempting to have sex with rather than defend against a predator would be costly. There must therefore be some mechanism, some circuit, located between input and output systems that translates environmental information into specific responses when certain kinds of stimuli occur.
A flametag is a kind of report that you can fill out on an ex- (or maybe your current) flame.
Catharsis, vengeance, boredom, as a warning to the rest of the world, for the lulz? Your reasons are all your own. :)
Yes, all flametags are by default anonymous. You have the options of including a blog or online profile link, but that's not required.
All personal name are replaced with pseudonyms (that is, fake names) to protect the identities of subjects (even when they don't really deserve it!)
The point of flametag isn't to publicly shame specific individuals, as tempting as that might be. Rather, the goal of flametag is to identify and tag certain profiles and patterns. And, of course, it is meant to provide entertainment. (In German, it's known asSchadenfreude.)
